The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is at Michelle's Billiard Cafe in Baldwinsville (Syracuse), NY this weekend with 33 players competing for a $5,640 total prize fund.

Some notable players include Dennis Hatch, Erik Hjorleifson, Ryan McCreesh, Eric Hildebrand, Evan Broxmeyer, Joey Korsiak, John Morra, Sparky Ferrule, Mike Zuglan, Sean Morgan, Mike Wallace, Jose Mendez and last month's event winner, Dave Grau.

They are down to the final eight players and Sunday’s matches starting at noon are;

On the Winners Side:
Erik Hjorleifson vs Evan Broxmeyer
Eric Hildebrand vs Jose Mendez

On the One Loss Side:
Dennis Hatch vs John Morra
Joey Korsiak vs Dave Grau

Also, Mike Zuglan is taking entries for the recently announced Turning Stone Classic VII 9-Ball Open which will also serve as the 2006 Joss Tour Season Finale.

This $25,000 added event will fill fast and is limited to the first 128 paid entries. It will take place on August 17th - 20th, 2006 at the beautiful Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.

Remember, the previous six Turning Stone events were SOLD OUT so enter early!

The Turning Stone is a non-alcohol serving casino which means you only need to be 18 to play in the tournament or gamble on the casino floor and spectator admission is FREE.

Erik Hjorleifson was in the hot seat!

Then again, Dennis Hatch over Erik Hjorleifson in the final set. 9-7
