I've been checking every day and finally noticed that yesterday the Southern Classic hotel packages went online for Tunica in June.
I slept on it for a night, just so I didn't do anything tooooo rash.
But, I just made the call a few minutes ago and I'm booked for 10 nights at $69 a night (without tax). Same hotel, same deal as last year. The Veranda. The accommodations are just fine and the shuttle runs like clockwork. Maybe 2 minutes from the casino for the Open events. The Veranda is literally 75 yards from the Convention Center for the amateur stuff, so it's an easy, easy walk.
