In o*ne of the biggest come-from-behind victories in banking history, Brian Gregg of Indianapolis, IN, recovered from being down to his last $700 to take the $12,000 winner-takes-all pot in the six-man banks ring game.

The initial competitors consisted of Grady Mathews, Tony Coleman, Ike Runnels, Truman Hogue, Shannon Daulton, and Gregg. The buy-in was $2,000 per man. With all 15 balls in play and no safeties allowed, the game began quite slowly at $50 per ball potted. It wasn’t until Game 4 that things began to happen, when Daulton made four balls in a row to move into first place with $5,600.
