TAD Merry Widow (Big Pin) - Serial 2821
This big pin TAD player was sent in to us as part of a consignment sale.
Beautiful piece of BEM used on this TAD widow. Juma joint. 3/8x12 wood to wood big pin. Fancy rings above the white delrin buttcap. TAD logo engraved into the buttcap.
Linen wrap was replaced with genuine EE leather wrap. One original shafts, the other newer shafts was bought later. Hence, it’s slightly longer than the original.
Both shafts have LBM ferrules.
Condition:
Butt has one dent right above the wrap (check the last pic)
Slight blue-ing on the delrin buttcap from regular use.
Shaft 1 is used regularly, has the well-seasoned blue patina on them.
Shaft 2 is lightly used, with 1-2 small finish peeling on the shaft.
(FYI: TAD’s finish are known to be super-thin and they tend to peel with use.)

Butt: 15.0oz
Shaft 1: 3.7oz (12.51mm)
Shaft 2: 4.0oz (12.95mm)
