The standard UV finish which came on my Schmelke seems to not glide through my hands as well as other shafts I have used on other cues. It was pretty good when I first bought it but has gotten sticky over time. I have tried wiping it down as they recommend but haven't touched it with sand paper. Is it just me? Would you guys recommend having it taken off or is there something I can do to bring it back to its original state from when I bought it?
