The bits that have large 90 degree wings on the sides cut best. Many that you buy for metal cutting need to be reground for wood. They can get pricey. Carbide will hold up best.

Chris,

Would you care to elucidate on how the metal cutting 90° cutters need to be reground?

Thanks in advance,

Jon
