I received this jump cue free with my Viking V129 and am having trouble getting this cue to jump. Just wondering if anyone else has this cue and what they think? Help, what am I doing wrong? I borrowed a friends Action jump cue and had no trouble at all. Also, does anyone know what kind of tip is on this cue? Seems kind of soft for jumping and the plastic ferrule may be some of the problem also. Help

After practicing off and on for awhile I still can't get the cue ball off the table with this jump cue 8-(. So, I borrowed an Action break/jump cue from a buddy and voila, jumped a cube of chalk on my very first attempt 8-). Just ordered myself a new Action from Billiards.com and hope to be jumping balls by the weekend.
