Valley forge expo update

I was there saturday and it was nice to meet some the guys that frequent this site. The crowds were as large as I've seen in the last 6 years. Of course the big question is whether they were spending money or not. We'll have to wait until all the guys come back with the answer to that question.

Alot of great looking cues with some really superb woods. I was glad to see a lot more cues showcasing the particular woods themselves. As for me I found a couple of interesting pieces of wood to bring home.

Some did well there and others did not. But the word on the floor overall is that people were spending less, but it was still a better show than many expected with the condition of the economy.

I didn't hear of anyone tearing it up with sales but I think it was ok. I had high expectations since I am swamped in the shop but then it hit me that people may be reinvesting into existing cues, getting a new shaft or wrap, as opposed to buying a new cue.
