Valley vs Dynamo Bar Table

Is there a difference in the too. I know that Valley merged with or bought out Dynamo. Just wanted to know if there is a difference or is it just a name plate. The reason I ask this is that I want to buy a Valley because that's what I play on in league. But I know someone that has a Dynamo for sale in excellent shape. He will sell to me real cheap. Thanks for your help. Michael

I'm not a mechanic ... but at one time I had an older 8-foot Dynamo and an older 8-foot Valley in my hall. Dynamo was a POS compared to the way the Valley was built. A real mechanic could give you details. Also it had ~5-inch pockets where Valley was ~4 1/2. But this was in a commercial atmosphere. Dynamo will hold up fine in home use. Both were sagged in the middle but that's common for Valleys and Dynamos. That said, cheap is good!
