Versus Drops The Ipt **********alert

well my friends it looks like the network VERSUS dropped the ipt.
the reno tournament set to be shown nov.27th. has been dropped in place of bbq-cook off. there seems to be no offical annoucment from the ipt or versus as of this moment as i go to press (here)
neither the versus network,or any human involved with this television production wants to comment on it. all i could say is what a bloody shame!
p.s. if you go to www.versus.com and click on series,there is not one mention for the ipt, and there should be~~~~the ipt world 8-ball championship.nada,nothing,nowhere,gone,kaput!!!

It still shows in the line up. It says it is on today at 5 pm and again tonight/ tomorrow morning 1:30 am

It is now 5 pm and sure enough, no IPT. To be honest, the Bar-B-Q show is better anyway. By the way, I am not being sarcastic. Watch the show, it is a first class production, far better then most any pool you will see on TV. The editing, commentary, drama, music, it gives pool shows like the 5 ball in quality, no kidding.

Well doubtlessly this is because the IPT has negotiated an incredible new TV broadcasting deal with a major US broadcast (not cable) channel for full, unexpurgated prime-time coverage of the IPT and they don't need no steekin' Versus any more.

I am awaiting the formal IPT announcement on this with great anticipation. (A week without an IPT annoucement is like a week without sunshine)

I have have prepped my nay-said words*. (washed off the dirt, then topped and tailed them) Then I par-boiled them (in the skin of course or you lose all the flavor) and have a frying pan simmering some butter and crushed garlic in readiness.

*Of course if this is too much work you can substitute microwave popcorn.
