This is an extremely rare unused set of Raschig billiard balls with their original box. They were made by Raschig to copy the old Brunswick Royal Centennial balls that were made in small quantities for Brunswick by Hyatt Billiard Ball Company of Albany, NY. Raschig made these balls in extremely limited quantities. They are the standard 2 1/4" in diameter. Raschig balls were made in West Germany but are no longer being made. These balls were made with a 1.4 mm deep polish, making the surface extremely resistant to damage while maintaining a constant long lasting high luster. These balls were made with very high quality pure, dyed cast phenolic resins with a completely homogeneous composition with the exact center of gravity in the absolute middle of the ball. They show practically no dimensional and weight tolerance variation, are fully resistant to high and low temperatures and always maintain their perfect sphericity. These balls achieved the tightest specifications and are the most accurate of any pool ball ever made. The long lasting luster on these balls are incredible, and many say they were the most beautiful balls ever made. These very rare balls are very difficult to find, especially in an unused condition with their original box and are very collectible. Note that the top of the box has split in only one bottom corner and on the top of the box has, "Raschig Dekorit" and "Made in West Germany." On the side of the box, Raschig placed a decal in German and English stating, "The European Pocket Billiard Federation" and "EPBF." Also note that the picture does not do the balls justice, and any white dots, lines, etc. on the balls are only reflection from the flash of the camera. I am selling these rare Raschigs on ebay for $995. I'm selling them cheaper here than I'm selling them on ebay. If interested, contact me at noddon1@aol.com.
