viking,pechauer,and Mcdermott lifetime warranty

I been looking at cues on line like I do every day lol.I have seen that 3 of the production cue companies. Viking, pechuaer, and Mcdermott all are giving a lifetime warranty including warpage.This is great,I wonder when are any of the custom cue makers going to do some thing like this?So has any one out there had to return a cue and how did every thing go?

I am a dealer of Viking and McDermott. I havent had to return any yet, but the reason they are doing this now is because of the ability to match up new shafts better than before. It is very easy to replace the shaft when it gets warped. Mc Dermott is even doing other repairs for free or low cost when you register the cue. They only do this for original owners when purchased through a Dealer I think. This will be eliminating a lot of the Ebay people who are selling factory seconds or used ones claiming they are new. Even though my McDermott sales have been flat lately I will give them credit. They are doing a lot of new things in the cue industry right now that most cue manufacturers are not.

As for Custom cue makers. I think most the quality cuemakers will guarantee workmanship, and stand behind most problems; but economic reality combined with the clientle that pool seems to have means that the "no questions asked warranty" would mean endless problems for them. Just my opinion of course.
