Viking to make a Shaft for my Meucci...?

With the Crap that seems to be coming out of the Meucci factory.

I was thinking of having Viking make me a shaft. I have an Red dot shaft now but it is full of Blemishes in the shaft, such as knotts in the wood and discolorations in the shaft too. The Knotts are only a couple inches from the feulle.

I sent my Cue back to Meucci for another shaft and they sent a similar badly blemished shaft to me. They said it would be about 7 days for another shaft to be made but who knows what I will receive.

Instead I have been thinking of: Having Viking make a shaft for my Meucci cue. I would send in my Meucci cue to them and have them do a taper similar to the Red dot. Viking seem to use very good wood with there shafts.

What should I expect from a Shaft made from Viking?

if you're talking about shaftwood similiar to the 314, #2(with the thin black ring),,,i like those shafts. dark, very visible grain, not pretty and clean,,,,that kind of wood has a nice sting to it.

Can't you find a local cuemaker to make a shaft for your Meucci?

Not to be too flippant, but this is kind of like thinking of having Hyundai make a transmission for your yugo.
