Billiards Tour Gives Free Tour Card Fees for all Active Duty U.S. Military Personnel
The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour, the largest of the regional billiard tours in the U.S., with over $90,000 in added prize money each year, announced that they have made the following changes to the acceptance all Active Duty U.S. Military Personnel in their open 9-ball tournament events. The changes will take effect immediately. To encourage participation in our sport by U.S. Military Personnel, the Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour will now be offering them free tour card fees (a $30 savings) to all of our $1,000- or $2,000-added open 9-ball tournament events. As of December 1, 2006, all Active Duty U.S. Military Personnel will no longer be required to purchase a tour card. Tour cards will be optional for those players but will still be required if they wish to compete in our larger events or if they wish to compete in our amateur events. This means that there will be absolutely no tour card fees for Active Duty U.S. Military Personnel while competing in our local $1,000- or $2,000-added Viking Cue Open 9-Ball Tour events. Active Duty U.S. Military Personnel need only to show their military IDs to receive the free tour cards when signing up to compete in Viking Tour events.

Tour cards will be optional for those players but will still be required if they wish to compete in our larger events or if they wish to compete in our amateur events. Billiards Tour Announces Decembers' Schedule of Events
The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour, the largest and longest running open billiards tour in the United States with over 90 events per year announced the beginning of it's 2007 schedule. The events start this weekend, December 2nd and 3rd in Hickory, NC then go to Goose Creek, SC the following weekend on December 9th and 10th where they will host an Amateur event along with an Open event for all 9-ball players.
