Vintage Aurora Skittle Pool Game

Someone selling this on fb around my place. Never seen this game, thought I'd share.

Aurora was the big home slot car racing set company in the early to mid 60s- they sold hundreds of thousands of those sets at Christmas time.
During Christmas time we would put a 4x8 plywood over our 7 foot home pool table to race the slot cars.

My older brothers had the Big Lionel train sets in the late 50s into early 60s then the slot cars and smaller HO train sets took hold for kids born after the first post war baby boom.

Skittle pool commercial. *in my get off my lawn voice* No measle or spotted cue ball. You needed a stroke back then, and not nurse the ball into the pockets. No intentional safeties.

They made model kits to. Never quite as big a Revell or Monogram tho. They sold all kinds of TV-licensed stuff.
