Hey does anyone have any information on a vintage dufferin 20 oz saxon ds- 1300 one piece 58" red maple leaf? I've had multiple red leaf dufferins before but never one that said saxon ds-1300? Anyone got any info on this?

I think they put ds1300 on it to make it special lol. I have 4 one pc Dufferin red leaf housecues and 1 has Q2 on it and 1 with havoc on it.

their old cues make great hitting conversions. just have a joint put on that matches your shafts.

Ya i know thx but i like to leave them as one peice all original and i still win plenty of tournaments with them... I was just wondering what the saxon ds 1300 means on this cue

Dufferin made a lot of cues for other companies…I had a bunch of Brunswicks by Dufferin.

Unless someone here knows specifically- you can consider numbers and names on large production cues from years ago to represent lot numbers, order numbers, individual rooms or companies that the cues were made for distribution, etc. etc. Brunswick cues for many years had all sorts of numbers on them. if the Dufferin has a maple leaf in a glass window it is not one of their oldest cues. The original production cues did not have a maple leaf- I know, I own one - there was a CD- Canadian Dufferin- initials on the cue back then.
I would guess that Saxon was a cue distributor/wholesaler of sorts and that the ds-1300 was a lot number for that distribution.

Ok thanks. So probably no different in the way it plays. It play just like all the other one peice red leafs, just different logos. Can we see pics of you old Dufferin with CD? I bet it plays even better than the red leafs do!! Those are probably super hard to find, huh

Dufferin Sneaky Pete that I've had for over 30 years. I had it turned down to 11.5mm and added a black ring. It's my break cue and if I put a layered tip on it I could play with it. The cue is straight as a die even after all these years.
