Know a guy selling a vintage Viking that looks kind of like a Palmer. Through some searching I've narrowed it down to a level 2 X200 or Z200, difference being if it's rosewood or cocobolo(?). Shaft looks very clean, been stored in a case for 10 years and seldomley used prior so good-excellent shape. He wants 350obo. I saw a thread from a few years back for a Z200 and value guesses ranged 600-750. Any guess on current? And how do these play compared to new Vikings? Sure looks like a pretty piece of history. Any help appreciated!

I've seen one similar to what you describe but the cue I seen had been thrown under the bus. It had a odd joint, I remember seeing Viking in the window.

No idea on value but neat cue, if it's worth something to someone I might be able to aquire the cue for sale.

If its vintage, just keep it, not gonna hurt to just leave it in back of the closet for another 10 years. Then break it out just to admire. I hate getting rid of cues, I miss them after they are gone. Wish I had some of them back. Like my Mordt, wasn't vintage but sure was a sweet cue, kickin my self in the butt everytime I see the that I traded it too

back in the day they were considered an okay cue. people usually got them because they were cheaper. not like a joss or something.
