Vintage Warped Shafts--Can They Go Straight Again?

A couple guys have told be they thought it was possible to straighten old/vintage shafts; however, they were clueless how it may be done.

Is this type of thing even really possible? Thanks for the input! Ken :rolleyes:

It is my understanding that once a shaft has gone south, that's it, no fix. They might be able to straighten them out only to have them warp again. If I am wrong, please somebody, I got plenty of them (HELP).
