Visited Chad Carter - Phenolic Tip/Ferrule

hey all,
drove down to Owensboro, KY last night to see one of the top young guns of cuemakers, that being Mr. Chad Carter.

had him make me a break shaft for a sneaky pete of mine. had him put the phenolic ferrule/tip combo on it, and like others on here have said, i can tell a difference on the break shot now as opposed to the other breakers i have been using.

he also put a new linen wrap on my Carter Cue, and he took a pic and was going to post it on his website. plus he reconditioned some ferrules and tips for me. and gave me a steal of a deal on all of this!

looking for a great cue, or needing some repair work done? might be worth your time to check him out.

you should have had him put a collars on the shaft and the butt of that sp breaker to reinforce it for strength, i used to have a old meucci sp, one with the black band, which didnt have a phenolic tip, but the shaft and also the butt both splitt...

anyways.. sounds like you had a great trip...

I like Chad as well. Have on of his cue's that he is building a new shaft for, and he offered to refinish the whole cue and other shaft for free.
