VNEA in Atlanta?

So it's looking pretty much like I'm going to be moving back to Atlanta in around a couple of months.

I just went poking around the VNEA website, to see what was going on in the area, league-wise - and according to their site, there's NOTHING. Four vendors running leagues in Georgia, all far outside the metro Atlanta area.

Is this the case? Or is the VNEA site data simply out of date?

Mr Cues has an in-house league I think?? but I know they have a league....

Since you are moving to Atlanta...does miss out on the best monthly tournament in the nation and quite possibly the world and known universe...it is on the 3rd saturday of every month....9-ball...$25 entry...$1000 added....double elim....on barbox's.....race to 9 and 7.....150 lbs of free smoked ribs we smoke the morning of the event go to feed all the players....located 60 miles south of atlanta in Macon....www.theholethang.com welcome to the state!!!!

I don't know about any VNEA leagues around here, but the APA is very strong, esp. at Mr. Cues II. I believe the Poolroom in Duluth has BCA leagues but you'd have to double check on that.

I know APA's all over town, and last time I was in town, I happened to be up at the Duluth Pool Room while they were running a BCA team tournament. :)

I may just end up going BCA instead of VNEA. I'm debating whether or not to try and go APA as well. I'm an 8-ball 6, pushing 7, but it's generally tough for even a solo six to find a decent team. Plus, I'm looking to push my game past APA levels anyhow.
