In addition to being a pool nut, I am also a computer nut.
I have converted hundreds of my pool, instructional, and accu-stats videos from VHS to DVD on my PC, and I am always looking for more. I have lots of matches (9-Ball, One Pocket, 3-Cushion) ranging from the 80's until today. I have also made DVD versions of several pool movies not available on DVD (Baltimore Bullet, Chalk, The Baron and the Kid)
So, here is my offer
Send me any tape I do not have, and I will send you back postage paid:
1) A DVD version of your original tape
2) Any other pool DVD from my collection of your choice
The resulting DVDs are better quality than the VHS originals for a variety of reasons. My VCR has a built in TBC (Time Based Corrector) with a 4MB frame buffer which really cleans up the image, removes noise, jitter, and does other hocus pocus. The DVDs have a nice pool themed menu, and chapter stops between each rack for easy scanning.
Finally, I use hi-quality printable DVD-Rs. I have a printer that prints directly onto the disk, and they are professional labeled (NO sticky labels that peel off!) The resulting DVDs are really sharp looking and you will not be disappointed in the quality of the video, or the label. I promise!
