And I preface this; Mods, if I am, in any way, violating forum rules, I will delete this.
I am a guitar player. I know there are guitar players here. I have a modest collection of 6 strings and I am looking to trade 2 away. I have been playing for 40+ years and life is catching up. I have Dupuytren's contracture, predominantly in my fretting hand, and has really fucked up my playing. Surgery is inevitable but the ability is never to be recovered.
So! Since I can still make a bridge with that hand I thought I would see if I can make a trade.
I suggest a trade because, even though it would be easier to sell for cash, then buy, once the cash hits the bank account it’s fair game for the wife.
However, a trade is of no consequence.
For trade:
2021 limited edition Fender George Harrison Rosewood tele. Played but have the case and all the candy etc. Never been out of the house. Trade value $4000
1978 Gibson ES-347 in excellent condition. Little buckle rash on the back, slight fret sprout, gold with almost no tarnish. Original case. Trade value $5500
I want to use an escrow agent and a video call for both parties to feel comfortable with the process, I will play it and confirm functionality, and all the images you want. We can figure out shipping and I would make sure the packaging was bullet proof. I would even consider traveling for a face-to-face depending on location and cue.
I want:
To trade for Excalibur/s, one for one, two for one etc.
- Bushka (lol of course)
- Zambo
- modern builder Like Cohen “Doom”
- ???
I love the classic Bushka style, linen wrap but not opposed to “other” no “natural material” cash on either side to make up any difference if needed.
