I am an artist working on a series of paintings and drawings using the game of pool as a theme. My boyfriend is a pool player and recommended that I post my wanted message here.

I am currently interested in making drawings using pool chalk and pool cloth. Would anyone be willing to part with their old pool table cloth? I can pay for shipping using paypal and would be very very grateful.

The focus of my work is the parallel I see between the risk-taking and intensity of high caliber pool playing and serious art making. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to AZ, the best pool community in the world. You may want to duplicate the same message in the Talk to the Mechanic section. The pool table mechanics are very helpful and may have some laying around being they recover tables for a living. Hope this is helpful.

I've got some old pieces of burnt orange from the 70's and some newer blue felt. Any idea how many inches by how many inches? :smile-square:

It would be great to have different colors and sizes, actually, since I will be making different types of drawings. I think I would like to have the felt no smaller than 3 ft x 3 ft but preferably table size. How big are your pieces?

How much cloth do you need I will have lots by the end of may

I would like to get as much as I can collect. I am still not sure exactly how much I will need but if you are willing to part with 3 or 4 table-sized cloths that would be great! I certainly will need more than that. How much is "lots"?
