Wanted: Helmstetter replacement shaft

I'm new to the forum so i will have to post pics after a few more posts.

I blue booked the cue and i believe it's an Adam's Custom Cue model : Level 5 97-17. It's a cue i've had for quite sometime but never really appreciated the beauty of it till now. I'd taken the wrap off because it was beginning to fray off and am planning to have it re wrapped here soon.

If any one has access to a fairly inexpensive shaft for it i'd love to grab it. I believe it's an 18 pin joint with a little recess around the joint. Again i will post some pics when i've gotten my required posts in. Once i do i'd also like some opinions on what type of wrap would be nice on it. I've got my co-worker telling a nice leather wrap would look real sharp but i'm undecided.

Again any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Edit: Forgot to add pics.

For some reason photobucket wouldn't let me rotate this correctly. I think the markings are "H 12.4.3" but any insite to what they are or what they mean would be great help.

Again, took the wrap off cause it was starting to fray off. Someone told me a nice leather wrap would really make it look nice but i'm just not sure. I feel like i should just replace the original wrap so the cue is the way it was meant to be.

Thoughts?

If your the original owner, call Adams in new York and they will replace a bad shaft, they have great warranty .

Unfortunately I'm not. The shaft I had for it wasn't even the original. I used it as a break cue for a while till I realized how valuable it may be. I saw on a website I could get one for around 120ish but I'm unsure if I want to invest that much into it.
