I was going to post this in the "ask a cuemaker" section, but after reading the rules it appears I have to post it here.
I am wanting a painted cue. The main "mechanical" specs I'm looking for is it has to be 19oz (preferably weight adjustable down to 18oz) and 11.75mm tip. I prefer a pro taper. "Cosmetic" specs are wrapless, painted metalflake red (think 70's hot rods and choppers) with either a stainless or black joint and sleeve. The shaft will still be natural finished.
Since it is to be painted, I don't care if it's a "second" or even a redone used cue, as long as it falls into the criteria and hits well. If you have an existing cue but it's wrapped, I might consider a wrap that would go along with the "hot rod" theme.
As always, I am open to suggestions and alternatives, especially from experienced cuemakers.
And as per the rules, quotes should be sent via PM. Ideas and advice can be posted here.
I knew watching American Graffiti after starting the "painted cue" thread in ask the cuemakers was a bad idea......
