I own a Phillippi that I am very satisfied with. Why sell yours?

it plays well, but i'm am developing a certain feel, and the stainless steal joint is not it.

don't get me wrong, i love the way this cue hits, i just founds something that feels better, and this game is all about feel.

thanks

ivory joint, so sweet

gotta tell ya, once ya go ivory joint you'll never go back. Just be careful as to tranporting it in cold weather, mine cracked, always let the cue warm up to room temp before hitting with it, never had and ivory ferrule crack but the joint has a hairline crack, just some info fo ya.

Here are a couple of Gilberts I used to have, I really lament selling the one on the left but I'll, eventually, be placing an order for a nice custom from him (my custom j/b will be here probably some time next week)!

so far the best playing cue i've ever owned is a gilbert jump/break cue exactly like the one zack posted a picture of. it plays as well as it jump breaks.

how do the rest of his cue's hit compared to that? i'm assuming better, i can't wait to get my new one this week.

I think the gilbert played great, although I'm horrible at describing the hit of a cue. A lot of my friends thought it was the best playing cue I've had, although I like the hit of my current Skip at least as much as the Gilbert.
