Wanted: Used Viking Cue

My brother had his cue stolen, and I'm trying to help him find a replacement, since he is not online.

The cue was a Viking, and he wants to replace it with the same, since that is what he is used to playing with.

He said he wants a linen wrap, and a quick release joint. (I'm not sure which Viking quick release joint he wants. He is probably not aware that Viking offers several different ones)

The cue doesn't need to be pretty, but straightness is important.

You may want to check with Mystic Cue Fan, he had a nice older model up for sale or trade. Pm him for his asking price, it's not too bad.

Thanks for the plug. You're endorsement money is in the mail.... This viking though old and kida beat up is worth every penny I'm asking. If you decide to get it refinished than it would be worth the full 1200 that it is quoted in the Blue book. It is an amazing cue with alot of work in it and has sharp points.

Hi Chris,

Don't know how long you have to play with. I'm waiting on a new custom to come in to replace my old Viking. It's a plain jane but has implex-implex quick-release joint and is very straight (cue repairman was complementing how straight the shaft turned in the lathe when re-tipping last week).

May be a month before I can get the cue.
