Found myself in Warwick to tonight, flying out tomorrow morning. I was looking for a nearby sports bar to watch the Bruins/Blues and the Yankees/Sox. A pool hall called Bo’s Bar and Billiards came up on Google as the best sports bar in the area, and it was only about 6 miles away.

Turns out it’s an old Boston Billiards with a different name. It’s in spectacular condition. About 30 Gold Crown IVs. For newer players, every year they built a new Boston Billiards in the 90’s, it would win the Best New Room award. I played some of my best tournaments in Boston Billiard rooms.

So players who want a taste of the upscale poolroom explosion post Color of Money, check out Bo’s Bar and Billiards if you’re in the Providence, RI area, after you go to Snooker’s of course!

It's a great place. Tables are O.K., could be cleaner, but service is great, food is good. (I've only been there three times or so, al recently.)
