I might be wrong but I thought there was a thread on nothing but watches, time pieces, etc?

Anyone can find a link?

I posted a few comments about watches on that thread.
Although I mentioned my watches, I didn’t post any pics.

So here’s the watches I usually wear when I play pool. I
have some other watches like a Patek, Movado & Bulova.

Those are sentimental pieces from my younger days but
these are my everyday watches worn when playing pool.

The Avenger is a very chunky and tall watch because it’s
an automatic chronograph but it’s really very eye catching.

With the proliferation of cell phones, why would someone want to wear a boat anchor on their wrist ??

When you can cover your torso with a dirty T-shirt, why would somebody wear a crisply pressed shirt with French cuffs, gold cufflinks, and a silk necktie?

I have a few watches. I used the profit from the watch biz 15 years ago to pretty much pay for all my cues. I held back some inventory that I liked. I sold off all the Pateks(got out on top). I never really got back into watches much after that. I wear a stainless Rolex. They can be a great place to park $, if you buy the right ones. Stainless Daytona is better than $ in the bank

The only watch I’ve worn for close to 30 years now.

My best friend flew with the Blue Angels. Every year Breitling presented each of the pilots with a new watch. The rat bastard isn’t even a watch guy… 😑

I’m not big on posting pics of my “stuff” however I’ll make a exception here.

I’ve been wearing this everyday for about 3 years. I got it for retail €11k-€12k I can’t remember. I have a friend who lives in Budapest who I met on AZB pull some strings and he got it for me at cost. Deal is I’ll never flip it. And there’s zero chance of that.

I’ve been wearing a Sea Dweller for the last 22 years. This is my 3rd one. The newest model from 2017z it’s a huge upgrade from the previous ones. It’s 95% it’s the last watxh I’ll buy for daily wear. I sleep with it on. It never comes off(unless I need a dress watch or something fancy for a reason)

Sad sign of the times, but luxury watches are mugger bait these days. Youtube full of sad and sometmes tragic stories.

When you change the strap, it can change the watch’s appearance.
I saw Rick on Pawn Stars wearing his Avenger with a silicone strap.

It really looked cool and even though the original titanium band was
light weight, the new strap is so much better suited for hot weather.
