Watermarks on YouTube videos

There are quite a few videos on YouTube with either an ESPN or SKY watermark. Does that mean those are not from AccuStats or another pool production company?

There are a ton of YouTube full matches out there, but I don't want to support anyone that uploads a video is from the AccuStats vault with more page views.

Do any AccuStats videos have the ESPN logo on them? I know quite a few of their videos were also taped and broadcast by ESPN with different cameras and commentators. But I don't think the AccuStats video had any logo.

Accu-Stats on ESPN

Thanks hang-the-nine - good question.

All major tournaments produced by Accu-Stats are shown Live as Pay-Per-View events, produced as DVD's, and shown on ESPN-Star/Fox Sports in Asia.

Currently Star/Fox has in excess of 200 million subscribers to their Cable channels.

ESPN-Star/Fox Sports often re-dubs the commentary into the language of the country in which the show is aired.

While ESPN-Star/Fox Sports has the license to air the tournament, Accu-Stats maintains ownership of the content and therefore the copyrights to ALL Accu-Stats produced content.

Unless an individual/company obtains prior written approval from Accu-Stats they are forbidden to disseminate our content in ANY fashion.

Our legal department pursues copyright infringements seriously.

Many offenders are contacted and offered the chance to remove the content on their own. Some are grateful for the warning because they do not want to take a chance of having their channel cancelled by YouTube.

Some do not comply and copyright infringement notices are filed.

I have seen some of the videos to which you have referred.
In many cases the audio has been dubbed into Chinese.

These shows were pirated/copied/purloined (pick the verb of your choice) directly off of ESPN-Star/Fox Sports' cable show.

Thanks for the good question - hope my answer clears the air.

Jim
