I really like my linen wrap a little tacky. Lucasi has what seems like an additional wax coat on their linen...at least their older cues. When I have a
really smooth, slippery double pressed linen wrap, I usually take some wax paper and rub it fast over the wrap. This wax application doesn't leave the
permanent feel I'm looking for. I have to apply it often and the cue becomes slippery again. I know some makers use the wax paper when the cue's on the
lathe, but is there a different way to apply a more substantial amount of wax?
