Wednesday night 9 ball tournament at Players in Eatontown. Practice 6:30 PM. Cal. approx. 7:30 PM. Double elimination. Winners side race to 5. Losers side race to 4. Called ball spot.

New topic . . . In the past we would have a Big Tournament every 3 months, on a Sunday. There would be money added to this event. . . . Trying a new approach, we have eliminated the Sunday tournament, and decided to take the added money and apply it to the last Wednesday tournament of each month. To be eligible you must play at least 2 weekly tournaments a month.

REULTS FOR 12/16/09

Good tournament last night. It's wonderful to see everyone crawling out of the wood work. Wanted to welcome down Tom G.

Once again, a lot of great pool playing. On the right side of the chart, the hot seat match was a battle of the Jimmy's. . . Jim L (12) had the win against Jim R (16) hill - hill. On the left side of the chart Mel (11) had won over Frank B(12) and Scott (15) had won over Victor (15). When Scott and Frank paired up, it was Scott who would leave Mel in 4th place. Scott then went on the win over Jim R 4-2. The final match was split between Jim L & Scott.

Kudos to all the top place finishers

Just wanted to remind everyone, we will be playing this coming Wednesday, Dec 23rd. Good opportunity to get your 2nd tournament in, for the added event on Dec 30th. If you are unable to get 2 tournaments in for Dec, you can still play on the 30th, however, you do not qualify for the added money. Added money event entry remains $30.

With our number of players growing, I must stress... slow play is not tolerated.. . And after you win your set please report to the board immediately to post your score. Everyone likes to socialize, but if we want to get done at a reasonable hour we should all pitch in. Thanks !

Good tournament last week. Everyone was in the holiday spirit, and had a great time. Players that were adjusted . . . Jeff J ↓ 9, Mario ↓ 14, and Hawkins ↓ 8. And a Happy Belated Birthday to Hawkins "50".

The hot seat match was played by Frank B (12) and Pam( 7), with Frank winning 5-3. Trying to get to the money, on the left side of the chart, was another battle of the Jimmy's. However, this week the other Jim.. . .Jim R (16) would come out on top, leaving Jim L (12) in 4th. . . . Jim R then had to play Pam. That set went 4-2 to Pam. In the finals, Pam won the first set 5-1, against Frank.... then the players decided on a 50/50 split.

Dec 30 is the added money tournament. There will be $200 added to this event. Entry fee remains $30. To qualify for the added money, you must have played in two December tournaments.

Last week the hot seat match went hill - hill between Mel (11) and Mario (14), with Mel coming out on top. His happy win was soon put to rest when he would play Jim R (16) in the finals. Jim was coming back on the left side of the chart beating Pam 4-1, Donny 4-?, Jimmy L 4-2, Scott 4-2, and Mario 4-2. The finals went two sets, Jim winning 5-2, then 4-2.
