I am curious to see how many of you fine players are breaking for 8 ball. Please post some code on 1 or two of your breaks, and the circumstances in which you use them. Remember to include english, use lines to draw your contact point & where you hope the cue ball will travel after the break!
Here are mine:
Playing against against a weaker player for the run-out. My goal here is to break them wide open and run down as far as possible. I use a rail bridge and try to stop the cue dead or draw back <1 foot upon impact. Hard hit:
START(
%AN7O5%BL7P8%CJ5O4%DL7N1%EM7P1%FK6P1%GK6N8%HL7O4%IM6N7%JK6M5
%KJ5P7%LJ5N2%MK6Q4%NJ5R0%OJ5M0%Po1H8%WP6O5%Xn0I1%eC2b0%_S1O1
%`Q3O1%aP1O3
)END
My second break I usually use when I am playing a better player. I tend to create a less spread out table with this break, creating more clusters, and most of the balls stay at the foot of the table. I hit medium hard, and average an 8 on the snap about 1 in 30, maybe 1 in 40 I try to draw the cue ball against the rail then back to the center:
START(
%AN7O5%BL7P8%CJ5O4%DL7N1%EM7P1%FK6P1%GK6N8%HL7O4%IM6N7%JK6M5
%KJ5P7%LJ5N2%MK6Q4%NJ5R0%OJ5M0%Po1H8%WP6O5%Xn0I1%eB4b2%_S1O1
%`Q3O1%aP1O3
)END
Ok everyone let's see it!
