Weight and balance of different woods

Hi dear Cuemakers and Cue-A-Holics

could someone perhaps gimme a list about wood depending on their weight- as from that i heard ebony and cocobolo for example are heavier than many other woods- which woods are recommended if you wanna make a cue where the balance point is more towards the joint ( ivory joint or phenolic, NO ss-joint).

i am at work so i cant post but if you go to bell forest website they have a wood density rating for each wood. i think you have to click on show all woods or something like that. if they give maple a rating of 1 say ebony may be 1.5 or 1 and 1/2 times the weight of maple for the same size piece.
