Weight bolt for meucci

Someone asked me to add weight to their old meucci cue. It looks like a 7/16-14(?) thread. Can someone familiar with older meucci's tell me the bolt size, and possibly tell me where i can find a weight bolt.

They use different sizes, take the existing bolt and match it up with some threaded rod at the hardware store, cut to size and cut a straight groove along the top for a straight screw driver, First check and see if set screws are available.

There is no existing weight bolt. I'm pretty sure it's 7/16-14, i'll see what i can come up with, and let you know.

never encountered a Meucci weight bolt that wasn't 9/16 sae threaded,,,, have 9 Meucci's; all have 9/16 threaded weight bolts,,, jflan

I found a bolt to fit it in my junk pile . I don't know how to measure it, but the o.d. of the screw threads is .490 with about 11 or 12 t.p.i.

Well, just look around some and you'll find them. I just added weight to a Meucci yesterday that was 1/2" x 13. I think Meucci just puts in what ever is cheapest that week.
