Weight bolts for Nova cues

Regarding the Nova cue in my profile pic, does anyone know the specs. of this bolt, and if it's possible to find one that's 1/2 oz? The bolt in my cue currently is about 1 oz. and I was considering trying to lighten the cue a bit. Considering the drill&tap work on the top of the bolt, I'm not sure if it's a custom bolt, or something readily available somewhere.

Thanks for the help.

Here is a picture of the existing weight bolt (if I can figure how to post pictures correctly). I think it's carbon steel.

You can simply cut off about half the length of that bolt and you'll have about half the weight. If you then decide you liked the old weight better, you can cut a slot in the end of the cut off piece for a flat blade screwdriver and screw it back in.
my 2 cents,
Gary

And a friendly machinist should have no trouble making you a few of those, as the slot for the screwdriver can be made even with an angle grinder. Anyone with a lathe can do those, as the thread doesnt have to be exactly right for it to still work. Take your cue (in case it is not a standard thread) and the old bolt with you and ask for the price if you happen to have some small machining shop around your area, I'd make you a few if you lived in Finland  Have them make you a 0.5oz, 1.5oz and even a 2oz one so you can cut them shorter yourself if you wish so
