Weight distribution while standing up

Is your weight, while standing up, equally distributed between both legs or are you leaned sideways towards your back leg so that more weight is on it while standing and aligning, so you can keep the weight where it is while bending down and when in full stance?

Is this the correct way, or do you do something different?

(this is a question just for those who DO NOT step in with their back foot, but just with their front foot forward/sideways)
