In another thread, which I didn't want to hijack, Darrin Hill posted the following:

Welcome back Eric, I myself was out for some time. I broke two bones in my lower back. I'm back, but it also took a lot out of me also. through the past I've read all your posts and feel the same way you do on a lot of stuff that you encounter in your cue building career. there comes a time when I just walk away for awhile , just not feeling it so to say. anyway best of luck. D Hill

Darrin, that's great news that you're feeling well enough to get back here. I know you don't know me from Adam, but I always have enjoyed your posts and the great machines that you design and build.

Take it slow, but keep on keeping on!!

Holy crap, Darrin! Glad you're on the mend!! My ex shattered T12, L1, and L2 when his truck was knocked off a bridge into a river by an ODot (Oregon) sanding truck. His entire lower back is fused and he has a rod in it. He then fractured C1 and C2 in a motorcycle accident. He fully recovered from both injuries.

All the best to you!

Lisa
