Upon just watching the youtube clip about the durometer testing of a large number of ferrule materials including both GE and Westinghouse. Anyone saying that the GE or the Westinghouse micarta were anywhere similar in hardness must have been coming down from some kind of high. They may look similar but there hardness couldn't be much further apart. Masons Micarta, although different, was a lot closer to the Westinghouse than the GE.
