With the recent announcement on www.pro9.co.uk and I would like to hear your views on it.

Before I post my own thoughts, it seems very much like it seems very much like the EPBF are barging their way into the UK's pool scene in a way that is basically demanding that tours/players join upto the this so-called governing body, or else they're not entitled to have any chance to compete in the Euro Champs, Euro Tour, or events like the WPC, WPM, WCOP, etc.
On top of this, it seems very much like they are trying to undermine the sheer amount of work and effort that the GB9 tour has put into making the Pro & Challenge tours successful to the point that they have now have got sponsorship from SAM Billiards & Barcelo Hotels chain, (Which is a chain of 4 star hotels throughout the UK that will be hosting all the GB9 tour events in 2010).
And so with this in mind, I ask you guys what your thoughts are on this announcement?
