what do I need to get started?

From what I have read in other threads by JCIN and others is to make sure you have at least 500 upstream from your internet provider to start. Then you need a digital video camera (that is not just a webcam) that is mini DV or has a hard drive in it (about $300 and up), and then a laptop or PC to have the internet and camera conected. That should do it.
