After watching the Canadian Championships the last couple years, I've noticed that there are some names I haven't seen in awhile., Has anyone seen Chris Orme , John Horsfall, Rick Marshall, Simon Pickering, Paul Potier, Brady Gollan, Alain Boutin ?
(Just to name a few. lol)

Just wondering

I think Orme quit pool, Simon Pickering is currently in Las Vegas for the BCA, Brady sometimes travels with Dave Martin. Last I heard of Alain was during one of the $1000 entry tournaments associated with the Derby I believe. That's the only info I have.

was thinking where has tyler edey been as well? He was around in the world circuit for a while not really sure what happened to him tbh

Brady was on a tear 2 years ago winning all the big events in Alberta. Some of the best pool I've seen. He's been playing the same events lately, he just hasn't been winning them.

Paul Potier now lives in Calgary and still instructs and plays daily.

Tyler Edey gave up pro pool and went to BC for an engineering degree awhile ago. He may be done school now and working making a good living! IDK.

I can't remember the event, but, I talked with Tyler after a loss and he said - I'm done with pool and going back to study engineering. I was thinking, yep see you at the next event. He wasn't joking though and must have finished his studies by now. Personally, in pool I think its the only way to go. If you are young, no responsibilities with supportive parents, travel the world playing pool and having fun. Then after a couple years, go get a real job. Well played Tyler.

Can't blame Tyler for going down that path. Good on him
