Why current WPC not so entertain like when handle by Matchroom Sports especially in Cardiff.
In Cardiff so many Drama,Action, like Corey Deuel vs Fong Pang Chao first match i see on TV, I Know everybody hope Corey win, but unlucky he didn't win that match and miss opportunity to win WPC, and one of best final in 9 ball History Strickland vs Bustamante in 2002 Final so tense and so many Drama

I hope Americans can win WPC again since Strickland in 2002, over 10 years it's so long:frown:
Just like Americans wins WPC because they have unique style like Strickland and Deuel
Do You think Americans top player will get WPC trophy again

It will be tough for an American to win unless it's Shane. He has the best chance due to his constant playing and the fact that he has good sponsors to help send him there.

I don't know what odds would be for Shane to win, but I have a feeling any other US player would be half as likely to take the world title.

They have to stage the tournaments first. Currently the WPA calendar only shows a men's 9 Ball championship scheduled for June 16 - 27 out in the sand dunes of Doha. That is only three months away. Who has been given the invites (and accepted?) to represent the United States? Where are the 8 & 10 Ball championships? Are the rights currently owned by any promoter? If not, is the WPA shopping them around?

Just my opinion, but I don't even find watching a Championship being contested in 9 Ball anymore that exciting. 10 Ball is such a superior game for the Pros to be challenged with.
