What is a good Valley bar table cue ball that will not get stuck in any Valley bar tables?

I had this cue ball awhile back, that I paid like $25 for online.

It was a high quality cue ball, that was made to work with Coin Op tables, but the thing kept getting stuck in this table at a near by bar.

It would always work just fine at this other bar though, on a very similar Valley coin op table, and it was a Magnetic cue ball.

Just curious if anyone can recommend a good cue ball that will probably not get stuck in any Valley coin op table?

Thanks a lot.

You sure it's the cue ball that's the problem and not the valley table?

I have no idea, but the last time it got stuck, they would not give the cue ball back to me, lol. It always worked just fine on this other Valley coin op table though. This is the one I had before, that kept getting stuck.

Aramith makes a metal flake impregnated cue ball for bar tables, available w/ the Cougar insignia - but that doesn’t add anything but ink.
The early iteration had an Aramith insignia in blue. It wasn’t polished well enough & would hold chalk rather badly. The newer ones, that eliminated the chalk retention issue, are distinguished by a purple insignia. Both work very well, are standard 2.25 diameter, and roll perfectly well. They are slightly heavier than the object balls due to the metal impregnating that allows the table magnet to redirect the cue ball.
The type of cue ball you show, which displays the “plug”, are typically made with a metal piece in the middle. In days past, you could buy a box of them and might only find a few that would roll straight due to the metal not being accurately centered.
Sometimes the cue ball will be kept from being redirected due to one or more object balls arriving at the magnet area in close proximity. Kinda the nature of the beast. If it’s happening on a particular table noticeably often, it’s likely a problem in the table.
I’ve used a purple type Aramith bar box ball on my table at home (not a bar box) with my Aramith Pros & Centennials for many years. Just to keep attuned to the slight change in reaction due to the extra weight. Tangent lines, etc, are altered to varying extents.
Good luck.

Thanks a lot. So, this one should work just fine, without getting stuck in any coin op table, right? I like the point you made, about it not getting dirty, due to chalk. Thanks a lot.

For my valley pool table at home, the cheap chinese made cue ball that came with the table would never get stuck. It never got stuck for over 10 years. I recently got two aramith magnetic cue balls from two different vendors online with the green aramith logo. These aramith ones are much better quality, but they get stuck like once out of 40 or so scratches. It's annoying to have to open the table every so often so I'm interested if there are other high quality options out there too.
