I am planning or ordering a new leather cue case soon, and frankly can not decide upon a 3 x 6, or a 2 x 4. One day it is a 3x 6, the next week I am thinking 2 x 4 again.

I currently have one of those chinese imports that are called “pro series” brand in 2 x 4 but some times have a inkling to have a second playing cue with me a tab bit heaver for a second option. Should my primary playing cue seem a tad bit light.

wonder really how practical a 3 x 6 is and how many really use one as their primary everyday cue case?

3x7

My favorite case that I own right now is my 3x7 INSTROKE I purchased from "Chrisonline" a while back. I prefer it only cause its a really nice case, and it allows me to take more than 1 playing cue with me, along with a break cue of course. I like to have a choice in playing cues because I never know who is gonna be in my local room. I only use 1 cue for gambling cause it plays soo nicely for me, but as far as practice or playing for fun goes, I have other cues I like to use for that purpose also. For example, I like to use 1 and only 1 DZ cue for gambling now, and its a BACOTE s/p with IVORY diamonds in the points and a "hoppe" ring above the buttcap. I recently bought it back and absolutely LOVE how it plays for me, although I wish it were made of another type of wood  ;) . I also like to take a "backup" cue which is also a DZ cue, but only use it when I have no other option or if I'm just crushing the guy...And of course I also have a jump/break cue, either my new "sledgehammer" made by SAMSARA, or my purpleheart j/b DZ cue.

I am setting my 3-7 down as it is now obsolete (heavy too).

I have a new 2-4. I have my Pechauer (1 shaft - could be 2 shafts) , My Predator BK (1 shaft) & my Jump Cue (1 shaft) in the same case. The Jump Cue's Butt fits in a shaft hole....

I was facing the same prob. a while back and found the perfect case to solve the prob. The premier 3x7 simulated leather(vinyl) case by instroke. It work perfect for me, its lighter than a leather case and looks fairly close to leather, hold all the cues i need to carry(player, back up player, j/b) and is VERY nicely priced for a instroke. I think i paid $167(about 60% CHEAPER than a cowboy series leather) shipped from billiardswarehouse, i think? Thought not as durable as real leather, it seems to be pretty beefy and sturdy, and its an instroke, i think there pretty well made. Something to think about.

I LOVE my 3x5 case. It's not too bulky, and it is exactly what I need. I have my Viking (2 shafts), Predator BK2 (1 shaft), Excalibur (1 shaft) and my Lucassi jump (1 shaft, butt in side pouch) all in the bag as well as all my accessories.

At the risk of someone else having my exact same case, here is actually a link to an auction selling the same case I have: http://cgi.ebay.com/3X5-cue-case-po...ryZ21211QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

For what it's worth, I love my case and it's been very good to me. Check it out.
