Rings on the buttsleeve kinda look Heubler-ish.

What kind of joint setup (piloted or flat faced)? Any rubber-type insert in the shaft???

That would be my first guess.

i saw the same cue in ebay. I doubt Black never sign his cue.

Well looking at the additional pictures on ebay, it is no Huebler that I know of? It has a piloted joint. The shaft don't match thus, I am guessing it is an aftermarked clone shaft of some kind with a brase insert. The brass does go into the SS joint, but not like any Joss or RB I have ever seen. I know Black does very sometimes from his designs, but this is nothing like his other stuff?

I am guessing a production cue of some sort? Maybe a rare Meucci? I did see one "original" with a piloted joint in the middle 80's. It belong to a local road player.

It is a good puzzler.
