I'm getting ready to sell this and realized I forgot/don't remember what type of wood this is. It looks like cocobolo and given I purchased it new I don't think I would've went with anything but that. But I'd like to make sure.

As the title mentions it's a Pechaeur P10 from their 2003 catalog. I searched for details of the cue but nothing came up.

Thanks in advance.

I can't say for sure, but the grain and the orange-ish color looks very much like Cocobolo to me.

This cue is still listed on Pechauer's website under their "Retired Cues" section. I'm sure if you reach out to them, they'll be able to pull it up in their history and tell you.

Good luck.

Yeah, I've looked it up a few times but never thought of emailing them - DOH! I'll do that shortly. Thanks.

Looks like cocobolo to me. The pawduk I've seen other than being more of a flatter red than orange didn't show that much visible grain markings.

Pechaeur got back to me and confirmed it is cocobolo and maple. The inlays are synthetic ivory.

Now that I know what it is I'll post it in the for sale forum soon.
