What type of flooring in your room?

We have carpeting in Affton Billiards. It is heavy duty made of Olefin and was is suppose to be stain resistant. After a few years it looks like crap (with lots of cleaning) and worst yet is the the amount of "wrinkling" due to the backing breaking down. It is time for a replacement. What do you have in your room? Has anyone had good luck with carpet squares? Can wood flooring hold up to the rigors of a busy pool hall? What about stained concrete or vinyl tiles? Thank you for your attention.

We used the vinyl plank flooring. Our tables have league play on them Mon.-Thurs., Tourneys Sat., and open pool all Sun. It's a bar not a hall, but we have 3 Diamonds and they get played on hard. Floor is still great after a year. Would have rather had a concrete overlay, but time constraints would'nt allow it. Brian.

We recently switched to commercial carpet squares from Henges in our showroom area and will go that direction when the billiard parlor is done next. Seems to hold up really well. Plus when you do need to replace it you do not have to replace it under the tables since there is no wear and tear. Look for overstocks at carpet stores to get them a lot cheaper.
