What will 1500 dollars get me?

Interested in TAD cues unless anyone has an old plain style GINA or Kersenbrock. I don't care about cosmetic condition for the bigger name cues I've mentioned. As long as it rolls straight, the finish doesn't matter too much to me. A Zylr in good condition might be cool too.

PM me with offers.

I hope you get lucky!

Me too, I've seen the plain Tad's go for around that price range, and I really dig how they hit. Missed out on one Jose was selling with a Gina wrap a while back, so been keeping my eye out. I've also seen the super old plain Gina's go cheap on occasion. Kersh's are a long shot, but Zylr's should fall in the 1000-1500 range depending on condition. Everyone keeps saying it's a buyers market, so where are all these cues that are so cheap!

Maybe I will get lucky ;)

$1500 will get you a Merry Widow type cue........that's about it.

The best deal around is Cocobolo Cowboy.....a gorgeous Sly cue or a beautiful Eddie Cohen cue.

Both are in your price range and you'd be nuts to get a Merry Widow Tad when for about the same price you could score one of the above cues.

Just my opinion but it's your money and you obviously know what you want.......but the cues I mentioned are really sharp cues.......I'd get the Sly if I were you.

Yeah, you can forget about a Kersenbrock. I haven't seen one for under 5k in years including merry widows. Last one I saw with points, no veneers, I offered 6.5k and that wouldn't do the deal. I don't blame the guy though because I wouldn't sell it for that either.

If you can't find any of what you're looking for maybe someone might have a SW maple "Pacifier" cue or for a few bucks more a regular SW maple merry widow. If you don't know the difference, the pacifiers were maple merry widow cues lent by SW to someone waiting to receive their cue on order in the early 90's I believe. They were usually "seconds" due to some wood flaw or something cosmetically undesirable by SW. Most wouldn't even see any issue. Other than that the cues were ALL SW.

As far as it being a buyers market, it is if your looking for anything other than top makers cues.
