what would cause this???

I just picked up a dufferin conversion from a local guy that he has had for about 3 months or sverall the cue looks good but when I got it home I noticed that the base of every point is cracked where the maple and purple heart touch,the cue still has a very nice hit to it and does not have any buzzes at all,could this have been caused from turning to fast ?? sorry for the bad pic,,,

Since you did say bases of "every" point, cut angle on the PH may have been substantially steeper than the cavity angle in the maple. When joined, the clamping pressure from elastic tubing cracked the PH (base end of the maple acting as the fulcrum). Then, too, the PH cavity end was narrower than the incoming Maple end. Definitely not from turn down.

I notice you have "Yuwie" in your posts. It is nothing more then a pyramid scheme and a scam. Why would you want to suck in your friends on AZ into such deal? Take it off your posts before some sucker here gets involved in it.

Yeah the pic sucks and I stated that,but you can see the crack in the center of the picture.
